Tanzania National Parks

Full day of game drives in Serengeti National Park. Serengeti provides sanctuary to the highest concentration of plain animals in the world. Survey estimates have put the animal population at about 4,000,000 including 3000 lions, 1,600,000 wildebeests, 300,000 Thompson and grants gazelle, 500,000 zebras.

Tarangire National Park is the sixth largest national park in Tanzania after Ruaha, Serengeti, Mikumi, Katavi and Mkomazi. The national park is located in Manyara Region. The name of the park originates from the Tarangire river that crosses through the park.

Lake Manyara National Park is a Tanzanian national park located both in Arusha Region and Manyara Region, Tanzania. The two administrative regions have no jurisdiction over the parks. The park is governed by the Tanzania National Parks Authority.

The Ngorongoro is the best place in Tanzania to see the big five.  A healthy population of black rhino and some of the largest tusker elephants left in Africa today are the prize spots, but the Crater is home to strong populations of wildlife.
